BROOKLYN CENTER, Minn. (AP) - Police have arrested a man in the shooting death of another man in suburban Minneapolis.

Brooklyn Center police were called Tuesday afternoon on a report of a shooting. Officers found a man with at least one gunshot wound unconscious in his vehicle.

Police performed CPR, but the man was pronounced dead. His name has not been released.

Cmdr. Rick Gabler tells the Star Tribune (https://strib.mn/29T2AB3 ) investigators talked to witnesses and found a suspect nearby within a few hours of the shooting. The man has been arrested and booked into jail.

Gabler says police believe he’s the only suspect. Authorities have yet to recover a gun.
