WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (AP) - A Rockland County volunteer wrestling coach has been arrested on a charge of sexual exploitation of a minor.

Federal prosecutors say Marcus Stroud of Nyack, New York, was detained without bail Tuesday after an initial appearance in White Plains federal court.

Authorities said the 19-year-old wrestling coach persuaded someone under age 14 to engage in oral sex while Stroud recorded it on his cell phone.

They say in court papers that Stroud met the victim last December at a youth wrestling tournament and began online communications.

A criminal complaint said Stroud admitted the crime to the Clarkstown Police Department in February. His lawyer could not immediately be reached for comment.

If convicted, Stroud could face a minimum of 15 years in prison or a maximum of 30 years.
