FLINT, Mich. (AP) - Police are seeking tips from the public as they investigate the death of a man who was struck and killed by two cars that may have been drag racing in Flint.

The Flint Journal reports (https://bit.ly/2a8oLW5 ) that authorities have identified the man who was hit late Friday as 44-year-old Richard Perry Albrant of Flint.

Police say the man was walking across Dort Highway when he was hit. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Before he was hit, the cars had pulled from the parking lot of a business and accelerated along Dort Highway. The drivers of both cars fled after hitting him.

According to investigators, one car was red and one was black. Police say the stretch of Dort Highway is known for people driving recklessly or drag racing.
