OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - State troopers are investigating after two Oklahoma residents were killed when their car collided with a truck.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported Saturday that Depew residents Alvin L. Cooper and Elvie Cooper, both 82, were killed in the Okmulgee County crash.

The patrol says the crash happened Friday at about 5 p.m. when the car the Coopers were riding in apparently failed to yield at a stop sign and was hit by a truck.

Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene; the truck driver wasn’t injured.
