NEW YORK (AP) - A bicycle rider has died after he was struck by a hit-and-run driver in Brooklyn.

Police say a black sedan struck the 35-year-old victim at 2:35 a.m. Saturday in Williamsburg.

They say the man was riding in a bike lane when the car hit him and kept going.

The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His name was not immediately released.

The investigation is continuing.
