GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) - A motorcyclist has died after an early-morning collision with a truck in Glendale.

Police say the collision happened just before 2:30 a.m. Saturday near 45th Avenue and Camelback Road.

According to police, the male motorcycle rider was not wearing a helmet.

Meanwhile, the truck flipped on its side. The 38-year-old man driving it was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

He is being investigated for possible impairment.

Glendale police closed surrounding roads for several hours.

The victim’s identity has not been released pending notification of family.
