NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - North Little Rock police want employees and residents to offer comments on the department as it goes through a review by a national accrediting agency.

The Virginia-based Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc., will assess the department July 11-14.

The accreditation program requires agencies to comply with updated standards in four areas, including policies and administration.

As part of the on-site review by CALEA, the department is asking employees and residents to offer comments about its standards at a July 12 session at the local chamber of commerce.

Residents can also call with comments on July 13.
