LUDLOW, Mass. (AP) - State police say one person is dead after a late night rollover crash on the Massachusetts Turnpike in Ludlow.

Police say at about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday the driver of a westbound car lost control of the vehicle, which rolled over into the treeline on the side of the highway near the service plaza.

The driver, 58-year-old Brian Dee, of Agawam, was thrown from the car. He was taken to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield where he was pronounced dead.

Dee was the only person in the car and no other vehicles were involved.

The cause remains under investigation.
