YOUNGSTOWN, N.Y. (AP) - Investigators are working to determine the identity of a man whose body was found in Lake Ontario.

The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office says a fisherman discovered the body around 8 a.m. Tuesday about a mile off shore near Youngstown, where the Niagara River flows into the lake. The fisherman reported the discovery to the authorities.

The U.S. Coast Guard brought the body back to shore.

The case remains under investigation.
