SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - Authorities have identified a pedestrian who died after being struck by two vehicles in northeastern Sioux Falls.

The Highway Patrol says 24-year-old Shane Whalen, of Sioux Falls, died at the scene at an Interstate 229 exit early Tuesday.

The patrol says Whalen was walking in the traffic lane on the off-ramp when he was struck by two vans.

Neither driver was hurt, and neither will face any charges.
