BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - Police say a 23-year-old man accused of fatally shooting another man multiple times in Birmingham has been charged with capital murder.

Birmingham police spokesman Lt. Sean Edwards tells Al.com (https://bit.ly/2abyApR) on Wednesday that Quintarius Walker is charged in the death of 40-year-old Flores Jose Castaneda. The victim’s body was found with gunshot wounds to the body and head around 4 a.m. on a roadway.

Investigators say Walker and Castaneda were acquaintances. They had been at an adult bookstore together earlier in the night, and there was a disagreement between the two.

Walker is being held at the Jefferson County Jail without bond. It’s unclear whether Walker has an attorney.
