WEST GREENWICH, R.I. (AP) - Police have arrested two people and busted what they described as a “large marijuana cultivation operation” in West Greenwich.

State and local police say they seized 12 pounds of marijuana and 59 marijuana plants during a raid Tuesday at a home on Hudson Pond Road.

In addition to the marijuana, investigators also seized packaging materials, 10 pounds of hash oil and equipment for manufacturing hash oil.

Police say 56-year-old Anne Armstrong and 46-year-old Alan Gordon, who both lived at the home, were charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana and possession of more than five kilograms of marijuana.

They were ordered held without bail at their arraignment. It could not immediately be determined if they had lawyers.
