FANWOOD, N.J. (AP) - Authorities have identified the 26-year-old woman who was electrocuted when live power lines fell on her car during a severe storm in New Jersey.

Police said Tuesday that Susan Potok pulled over to the side of the road because of bad weather conditions and poor visibility when wires fell on her car Monday afternoon in Fanwood. The Plainfield woman was killed when she tried to get out of the vehicle.

Police say the woman was alone in the car when the accident occurred. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators say the wires came down due to a tree that fell on the line.
