WASHINGTON (AP) - Protesters are blocking a road in northeast Washington and entrances to the nearby national legislative office of the Fraternal Order of Police.

Media outlets report that protesters are blocking an intersection blocks from Union Station on Wednesday.

Clarise McCants with Black Youth Project 100, or BYP100, says her group and Black Lives Matter DC aim to prevent business as usual at the FOP offices by blocking entrances to the building and the nearby intersection. She says they hope to stay there as long as they can Wednesday.

Police spokeswoman Aquita Brown says officers are on the scene, but there have been no arrests.
