TOOELE, Utah (AP) - The Latest on a fire that destroyed 10 homes in a Utah trailer park (all times local):

11:10 a.m.

Fire officials are investigating whether someone intentionally set a fire that destroyed at least 10 homes when it ripped through a Utah trailer park overnight.

Officials with the Tooele City fire and police Departments say the fire appears suspicious and officials are investigating whether it could be arson.

Tooele City Fire Department Chief Bucky Whitehouse says the fire started in a field Tuesday night and spread north to homes as winds drove it forward.

The blaze was contained by Wednesday morning with the help of about a hundred firefighters.

Three were treated for smoke inhalation, though no other injuries were reported.

Firefighters have contained a blaze fueled by wind that ripped through a Utah trailer park, displacing dozens of people and destroying 10 homes.

The fire was reported about 11 p.m. Tuesday in Tooele, east of Salt Lake City.

Authorities said debris caught fire and began to spread with heavy winds in the area.

The fire destroyed 10 homes and damaged eight others.

The area was evacuated and a shelter has been set up at a local elementary school for those displaced.

The blaze was contained by Wednesday morning with the help of about a hundred firefighters.

Three were treated for smoke inhalation, though no other injuries were reported.

Authorities said fireworks may have sparked the blaze.
