GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - Grand Forks police have arrested two suspects in an alleged home invasion in which two people were hurt.

Authorities allege the two men entered the home of people they knew about 3:45 a.m. Thursday, attacked a female resident and then assaulted a man in the home who came to her assistance.

The victims were taken to a hospital with unknown injuries.

Officers found the suspects hiding in a trash bin a short distance from the home and arrested them. Formal charges were pending.
