DANVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Authorities say three people have died in a single-vehicle crash in Boyle County.

According to news media outlets, police said the driver of the car missed a stop sign and the vehicle hit a rock wall on Highway 33 on Thursday morning.

The car caught fire, killing three people and injuring a fourth person.

According to WKYT-TV, the Boyle County coroner has identified the dead as 21-year-old Matt Darland, 17-year-old Jacob Frick, and 21-year-old Briana Coffman. The survivor has been identified as 20-year-old Trevor Thompson. They are all from Harrodsburg.

Highway 33 was closed due to the crash, but it has since reopened.
