FRESNO, Calif. (AP) - Authorities are searching for a gunman after three people were shot in Central California Wednesday night.

KSFN reports (https://abc30.tv/2af9q6a ) Thursday that the shooting happened around 9:15 p.m. Wednesday in Fresno.

Police say three men were standing outside an apartment complex talking, when a man walked up to them and shot them, the station reported.

They were all rushed to the hospital and are expected to survive.

A motive in the shooting has yet to be determined. No one has been arrested.

Fresno police Lt. Ron Hughes says the victims are cooperating and there are several witnesses.

Detectives do not believe the shooting was gang-related.

The case remains under investigation.
