TOWANDA, Pa. (AP) - The district attorney says a triple-fatal crash in rural northeastern Pennsylvania is under investigation.

State police from Towanda say a boy was killed in a car that crossed the center line of the Burlington Turnpike in Bradford County, and that two adults in another car struck by that vehicle also died.

State police say the car that crossed the center line in Burlington Township is Phillip Frisbie, of Towanda. Police don’t know why the car crossed into the other lane.

A boy riding in Frisbie’s car, who police aren’t naming, was killed in the crash Tuesday, just after 1 p.m.

The driver of the other car, Sarah Lynn Heasley and her passenger, Clifton Roy Heasley, were killed. They’re both from Towanda, too.

Police haven’t released their ages.
