PHILADELPHIA (AP) - A Florida media company has announced plans to buy four Philadelphia radio stations as part of a $240 million deal to also buy 17 other stations in several other markets.

Philly.com (https://bit.ly/2abKcYf ) reports Beasley Broadcasting of Naples, Florida, announced Wednesday that it is buying FM stations WMMR, WMGK, WBEN and WPEN from Greater Media Inc.

Greater Media didn’t immediately respond to an email for comment sent Thursday to its offices in Philadelphia. The Philadelphia stations are music stations, with the exception of WPEN, which is a sports channel.

Beasley says the deal also includes Greater Media stations in Morristown, Middlesex and Monmouth, New Jersey, as well as those in Boston, Detroit and Charlotte, North Carolina.
