JACKSON, Wyo. (AP) - A grizzly bear cub has died after being struck by vehicle on a northwest Wyoming highway, marking the third grizzly in the ecosystem to be killed by a vehicle this year.

The Jackson Hole News and Guide reports (https://bit.ly/2ajfPQL ) that the female cub was killed Wednesday just west of Togwotee Pass on Highway 26/287.

Wyoming Game and Fish Department large carnivore conflict coordinator Brian DeBolt says Togwotee Pass averages about one grizzly killed a year by vehicles.
