POMONA, Calif. (AP) - Metrolink commuters experienced delays on the San Bernardino line as authorities investigated a suspicious package on the tracks at the Pomona North station.

Ramon Montenegro with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department says the item was discovered around 6:15 a.m. Trains started moving again around 9:30 a.m. after a bomb squad removed the item and declared the area safe.

The regional rail line arranged for buses to move commuters around the Pomona station.
