DIXON, Ill. (AP) - The Ronald Reagan Boyhood Home in Dixon has a new executive director.

SaukValley.com (https://bit.ly/2a2PHJ6 ) reports Lee County Historical and Genealogical Society President Pat Gorman was named this week to succeed Brandi Langner, who stepped down in May.

Gorman says his initial goals include beefing up the roster of volunteers as well as fill empty seats on the board. He also says he hopes to improve maintenance work on the home, updating the home’s website and working to coordinate the home’s hours with other area historic sites.

Gorman starts Monday, but says he will also remain with the historical society.
