WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) - Police are investigating the stabbing death of a 37-year-old Connecticut man who was found in the parking lot of a Worcester, Massachusetts, YMCA.

The victim was found unconscious in a car at around 7:10 p.m. Wednesday. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

He was identified by police Thursday as Lee Daniels. No hometown was provided.

Investigators say the victim was stabbed in the upper chest when he got into an altercation with a male suspect. He then drove a short distance to the YMCA.

There was no word on arrests.

The death was the city’s fourth homicide this year.
