CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - The West Virginia Chamber of Commerce is offering grants to small businesses hurt by last month’s devastating floods.

Chamber attorney Parween Mascari tells The State Journal (https://bit.ly/29ZISIc ) that the chamber has collected more than $100,000 for the impacted businesses.

Mascari says the small grants would provide businesses immediate aid that does not need to be paid back, unlike some state and federal loan options.

The June 23 floods killed 23 people and ravaged homes, businesses, roads and other infrastructure.
