BOTHELL, Wash. (AP) - A large fire damaged multiple businesses in downtown Bothell.

The blaze started around 3 a.m. Friday and was spread by high winds that fanned the flames.

The fire spread to the Bothell Mall. Bothell Fire Department spokeswoman Kirsten Clemens says a Wells Fargo Bank branch and a cafe were damaged, though the extent wasn’t immediately known.

City officials said Friday night that while several businesses had reopened in the area, about 20 businesses sustained significant damage and will be closed until further notice.

No injuries were reported though some residents in the city just north of Seattle were evacuated.
