NEW YORK (AP) - A driver who left a bar and crashed into a parked school bus, killing his passenger, has pleaded guilty to manslaughter.

Queens District Attorney Richard A. Brown announced the plea Thursday by Kyung Song of Island Park, on Long Island.

The defendant told investigators he’d downed six beers and three shots before the December crash.

He said his passenger, 24-year-old Nara An, had told him to slow down.

She suffered massive head injuries.

Song faces three and one-third to 10 years in prison when he is sentenced on Sept. 15. After he gets out, he’ll be required to install an ignition interlock device on any vehicle he drives.
