PORTLAND, Maine (AP) - More than 700 Central Maine Power customers are still without power a day after a storm knocked out electricity to nearly 15 times that number.

Central Maine Power reports that about 785 customers, mostly in York County, remain in the dark Saturday night. On Friday night, 10,500 utility customers lost power.

The power company had reduced the number of customers with outages to fewer than 100 Saturday afternoon, but a new round of storms caused increases.
