Hillary Clinton “agreed” with many of her most vociferous critics about a double standard surrounding her. Only she thinks she’s the victim.

When asked in an interview that aired Sunday on “60 Minutes” about the “crooked” and “corrupt” claims by Donald Trump and numerous other Republicans, Mrs. Clinton said she is being held to higher standards of ethics than other people.

“I often feel like there’s the Hillary standard and then there’s the standard for everybody else,” she said.

The snark on Twitter when the “60 Minutes” account posted the quote came thick and fast.

“Because you get away with everything?” said MillennialViews. “Exactly! Hillary thinks the rules are for everyone else,” added S. Elizabeth Kaufman.

Sonny Bunch, executive editor of the conservative Washington Free Beacon, laid out that standard.

“Like the standard where you wantonly disregard email security on top secret stuff and the FBI is like “whatevs.”

In a clip played on CNN later, Mrs. Clinton said people saw the Hillary standard “at the Republican convention,” which she said were “unfounded mean-spirited attacks … that take on a life of their own … People are very willing to say things about me … that are very regrettable.”
