SHELTON, Conn. (AP) - A second moving company employee has been charged in connection with the theft of a gun from a Connecticut home.

Police say 44-year-old Nicholas Pach, of Milford, was arrested Tuesday. He’s charged with conspiracy to commit theft of a firearm.

Pach was freed on bond and is due in court Sept. 9. It’s unclear whether he has a lawyer.

A Shelton resident who was in the process of moving reported in April that his firearm was missing. Police recovered it in some nearby woods.

Detectives interviewed employees of the moving company and arrested 22-year-old Anthony Trotta, of Stratford, on April 28 on charges of theft of a firearm and related offenses. Trotta has pleaded not guilty. It’s unclear whether he has a lawyer.

Police haven’t publicized the moving company’s name.
