OSSIPEE, N.H. (AP) - A former teacher’s aide has been accused of sexually assaulting a 3-year-old girl when he was worked at a school in Ossipee, New Hampshire, last fall.

Jeremiah Friedel faces one count of aggravated felonious sexual assault. Friedel has denied any sexual contact with the girl.

Court records say the child’s appetite decreased, she had mood swings and pulled her own hair to the point where it hurt. Police and the Department of Children, Youth and Families investigated.

Friedel worked at the Cornerstone Christian Academy. As part of his bail conditions, he was told he cannot work with children, seniors, or the disabled. His next court date is scheduled for next month.
