ATLANTA (AP) - Three men have been accused of stealing about $190,000 from an armored truck in southeast Atlanta earlier this year.

U.S. Attorney John A. Horn said in a news release that the men were arraigned July 21 after having been indicted for their role in the robbery of a Dunbar Armored Inc. courier at gunpoint on May 14. Horn called the act “brazen.”

Authorities say 43-year-old Artaigous Norwood and 21-year-old Joquize Norwood, both of Atlanta, robbed the courier as he exited the vehicle.

Investigators say cellphone evidence and video surveillance shows 23-year-old Detravius Brown of Mableton acting as lookout during the robbery. No one was injured.

The suspects each face multiple charges, including armed robbery. It’s unclear whether any of them have an attorney.
