PENN LAKE, Pa. (AP) - Authorities are trying to determine if a man found dead in a northeastern Pennsylvania lake is the victim of a boating accident or died some other way.

An autopsy was set Wednesday on the body of 37-year-old David Young, of Wilkes-Barre.

His body was found floating in privately-owned Penn Lake, which is located in the borough of the same name in Luzerne County.

White Haven Police Chief Thomas Szoke says investigators are checking out reports of a possible boating accident on Sunday, two days before the body was found. White Haven police patrol Penn Lake Borough.

A construction crew saw the body floating in the lake Tuesday and called authorities. It’s not clear why nobody saw the body before that.
