SMYRNA, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police are asking the public for information to help find the person who fatally beat a 63-year-old man in Smyrna.

The agency said in a news release Wednesday that James Leager of Clayton was found critically injured in his truck on a farm on April 27. Troopers say he was hospitalized until he died on May 17. Officers say he died from complications of blunt force trauma.

Detectives want to speak with anyone who may have seen Leager or his truck, a bronze colored 2011 Ford F150 pickup, in the days before he was assaulted.
