LA HABRA, Calif. (AP) - Authorities say four Southern California restaurants, two in La Habra and two in nearby Whittier, were burglarized in a span of one hour overnight.

La Habra police Sgt. Kyle Davis says nobody was hurt in the string of break-ins that began around 1 a.m. Thursday.

Investigators say the thief or thieves got into each establishment by throwing rocks through the front windows. Some of the restaurants were ransacked and unknown amount of cash was taken.

City News Service says an initial investigation turned up surveillance video that shows a man wearing shorts inside one of the buildings. Detectives are looking for other possible video.
