MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. (AP) - Authorities have identified the body of a 60-year-old homeless man found floating in the Clinton River in suburban Detroit.

The Macomb County sheriff’s department said Thursday the family of Anthony Ramar has been notified of his death. The Mount Clemens man’s body was spotted by a boater Tuesday night in the water near MacArthur Park in the city and was tangled in debris a few feet from shore.

Ramar was found with identification and was recognized by sheriff’s deputies.

In a statement earlier this week, the department said there were no signs of foul play. Investigators were working to determine how Ramar died and how long his body was in the water.
