TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - Better bring an umbrella because parts of New Jersey could get a soaking of 2 or more inches of rain in an hour.

A flash flood watch is in effect into Friday evening for Hunterdon, Somerset, Middlesex, Monmouth, Mercer, Ocean, Salem, Gloucester, Camden, Burlington, Cumberland, Cape May and Atlantic counties.

Forecasters are still unsure of the track, but they say periods of showers and thunderstorms are expected from Thursday night into Friday.
