CONWAY, Ark. (AP) - The Faulkner County sheriff says a 50-year-old man suffered an apparent heart attack and died as a SWAT team was executing a search warrant at a home in Conway.

Sheriff Matt Rice says the man and several other people were in the home when the SWAT team entered at about 6 a.m. Thursday. Rice tells the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette (https://bit.ly/2a2xD28 ) that the team was executing a warrant related to a drug case.

The sheriff says the man started complaining about chest pains, and emergency responders attended to him, but the man died a short time later.

Authorities have not yet released the man’s name or more details about the search warrant.
