GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) - Police have arrested a man they say made a bomb threat against the U.S. Social Security Administration office in Greenville.

Local news organizations repot that police arrested 69-year-old Ronnie Matthew Vaughn Wednesday on charges including bomb threat and unlawful use of 911.

The Greenville Police Department says dispatchers received seven calls from a man making bomb threats to several locations including the Social Security office.

The office was closed Wednesday as officials investigated. Authorities later said they did not detect any explosives in or near the building.

After tracing the calls, police determined that Vaughn made the threats and arrested him without incident.

It’s unclear if Vaughn has an attorney.
