SEDALIA, Mo. (AP) - A Missouri woman has been charged with stealing more than $30,000 from a youth softball league over the last two and a half years.

Thirty-seven-year-old Daisy Mae Hoover, of Sedalia, was arraigned Thursday on one count of theft and two counts of fraudulent use of a credit device. The Sedalia Democrat (https://bit.ly/2acJdou ) reports that she is jailed in Pettis County on a $50,000 bond. No attorney is listed for her in online court records.

Court documents say the president of the Sedalia Girls Softball League reported the theft in June. Hoover was the league’s treasurer.

Issues included unauthorized ATM withdrawals and other debit card purchases and payments from the league account. Court records say some of the money went to pay personal bills.
