PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Two men died when one of them lost control of a Toyota van on Highway 213 north of Silverton.

Oregon State Police say the van went off the highway Thursday and then came back onto the road, where it was struck on the passenger side by a sedan traveling in the opposite direction.

The van driver and his front passenger both died at the scene. A woman and a 2-year-old in the van were taken to a hospital for injuries not considered life-threatening, as was the sedan driver.

The highway was closed for about four hours during the investigation.
