BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - North Dakota’s Transportation Department has finished a draft of the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program for the next four years.

The STIP involves projects funded with federal highway and transit funds. Improvements include projects on state and county highways, city streets, roadway safety features, bikeways and busing programs.

The draft can be found on the agency’s website at www.dot.nd.gov . Copies also are available for viewing at DOT district offices, or can be obtained by calling 701-328-4587.

The agency is accepting public comments until Aug. 15.
