RANGELEY, Maine (AP) - Authorities say they have identified a man who died during a confrontation at a home in Rangeley as a 29-year-old New York City resident.

Police say Michael Bokun died from a gunshot wound to the chest. They also identified one of the two people injured in the incident as 48-year-old Hector Munoz of New York City.

Munoz was treated and released for a head injury. Police are not identifying the resident of the Rangeley house where the incident took place. That resident is hospitalized with injuries that are not life-threatening.

Police are still investigating the incident. They have arrested Munoz for a probation violation unrelated to the confrontation. He is at Androscoggin Jail and it is unclear if he has a lawyer.
