TUCKAHOE, N.J. (AP) - Authorities are searching for a swimmer who went missing in a southern New Jersey river after leaping from a bridge.

State police tell NJ.com (https://bit.ly/2aACSXI ) the man, believed to be in his 20s, leapt from a bridge over the Tuckahoe River just before 4 p.m. Thursday and didn’t surface.

The search was suspended at night and was slated to resume at 8 a.m. Friday.



Authorities didn’t identify the man.
