JERSEY CITY, N.J. (AP) - A fast-moving fire has damaged a residential building in Jersey City, displacing 10 people.

No injuries were reported in the fire, which broke out around 11:30 p.m. Saturday on the roof of the three-story building on Grant Avenue.

Firefighters were able to contain the blaze in about 15 minutes and it was extinguished a short time later.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Authorities say the displaced residents were staying with relatives. It’s not clear when they will be able to return home.
