GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Police in Glendale have arrested a driver involved in a deadly collision with a motorcycle.

Authorities say 38-year-old Roberto Tafolla Villegas was booked into jail Saturday on one felony count each of manslaughter and causing a death while driving on a suspended license.

According to police, 53-year-old Terry Douglas was riding a motorcycle on Camelback Road near 45th Avenue just before 2:30 a.m. earlier in the day.

Investigators say Villegas allegedly ran through a stop sign while driving his truck, hitting the motorcycle and causing it to land on its side.

Phoenix firefighters responded but pronounced Douglas dead at the scene.

Douglas was not wearing a helmet.

Villegas was treated at a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say he showed signs of impairment.
