LONG BEACH, Miss. (AP) - Barbara Ann Clark Brennan, the wife of restaurateur Owen “Pip” Brennan Jr., is dead at the age of 82.

An obituary on the website of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home states that Barbara Brennan died Saturday in Long Beach, Mississippi.

Owen Brennan Sr. founded the popular French Quarter restaurant Brennan’s, which his sons and widow ran for decades.

Barbara Brennan grew up in Mobile, Alabama, and met and married Owen Brennan Jr. at Spring Hill College.

They were married 60 years and had been living in Pass Christian, Mississippi, since 2008.

She is survived by a sister, her husband, three sons and a daughter, and 13 grandchildren.

Her funeral will be at noon Tuesday at St. Mary’s Assumption Church in New Orleans, with visitation that morning and burial in Metairie Cemetery.
