GULFPORT, Miss. (AP) - An 18-year-old accused of killing a 21-year-old has been extradited from Florida to Gulfport, Mississippi, and is being held in lieu of $1.3 million bond.

The Sun Herald (https://bit.ly/29cGny5 ) reports that Juwan Johnson is now in the Harrison County jail, charged with one count of murder and three of drive-by shooting.

He’s accused of killing 21-year-old Stanton Saunders, of Gulfport, on June 8.

Authorities in Lake County, in central Florida, arrested Johnson on June 23. He was returned to Mississippi on Saturday.

His bond was set at $1 million on the murder charge and $100,000 for each count of drive-by shooting.

It was not clear if he had an attorney who could comment.
