NEW YORK (AP) - A man riding a motorcycle on a Brooklyn street died after the bike fell over and slid into an oncoming car.

Police say it happened around 1 a.m. Sunday on Buffalo Avenue. They say the 52-year-old man of the motorcycle was riding fast when he tried to take a curve in the road, which made the bike fall onto its side and slide into the opposite lane.

The motorcycle slid into an oncoming car, and the driver came off the bike. Authorities say he was pronounced dead at the hospital. No identity has been released.

The three people in the car were unhurt.
