CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) - Prosecutors say a 15-year-old Camden boy shot and killed another teenager on a city street.

But a motive for the shooting has not yet been disclosed.

Camden County prosecutors say the suspect was charged with aggravated manslaughter and was being held in a youth detention center. His name was not released due to his age.

Police found the 15-year-old victim shortly before 5:30 p.m. Saturday in the 1200 block of Mechanic Street. They had gone there after someone called 911.

The wounded teen was found in the street. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Authorities say the investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
